How we work: check first, then quote

Many wrong orders of heating elements come down to the size: a centre distance, a 4/9 that was a 3/6, a single rod in an aged set. So every request starts with a check of your element.

Four steps

  1. Send

The furnace model and a photo of the old element, or its part number. Dimensions if you can measure.

  2. We check and confirm the spec

We check the dimensions and reply in writing with the size line we read, any missing value, and whether we can supply it.

  3. You confirm the configuration

Size, number of elements per set and, for SiC rods, how they are grouped by resistance.

  4. Production and shipping

Production and shipping are arranged for the confirmed configuration; the quote covers that element and quantity.

No delivery times, prices or minimum quantities are published on this site; they are part of the quote for a confirmed configuration.

What to send

Dental 4/9 / 3/6furnace model, d/c, Le, Lu, leg spacing a, straight or bent, elements per furnace
Dental SiC thin / SGRfurnace model, OD, HZ, OL, resistance marking, single or double spiral, elements per set
MoSi2 6/12grade, Le, Lu, centre distance a, straight or bent, elements per furnace
SiC Ø25 UOD, HZ, CZ, centre distance A, bridge type, resistance marking
SiC Ø25 straightOD, HZ, CZ, OL, resistance marking, rods per group and wiring
Allfurnace brand and model, photo of the old element next to a ruler, quantity, country

Don’t know the dimensions? Photos of the whole element next to a ruler and of the terminals are enough to start.

What our reply contains

“Here is the size line we read”

The element written out (for example d/c × Le × Lu × a), so you can compare it with the old one.

“One value is missing”

Usually the centre distance for U elements or the resistance marking for SiC rods – and how to measure it.

“This one is not for us”

If it is not one of the elements we supply, we say so.

Measuring the old element

Measure on a flat surface with a ruler or tape. For U elements measure the centre distance from the middle of one leg to the middle of the other. For SiC rods, note the value printed on the cold end; a cold multimeter reading is not comparable. Handle elements with both hands – they are brittle at room temperature.

LuLeacdd / c = 4/9 or 3/6(hot zone / terminal, mm)

Production, testing and packing

Typical steps for elements of these types: raw material, firing, power tests on a rack, checks against the size line, and packing in foam and crates. Elements are brittle at room temperature, so handbooks advise unpacking on a flat surface and checking each element for cracks before it goes into the furnace.
